The class has been working on characteristics that make up a good citizen. We have been reading different books to help prompt conversations about how we think a good citizen should act. Below is the anchor chart we used to brainstorm these characteristics!
We then used this anchor chart to start a conversation about our classroom promise - or the rules we will follow in our classroom. We had this anchor chart up as we brainstormed how a good classmate is, does, says, and doesn't say. We refer back to this anchor chart often! The kiddos made their 'faces' to represent that we are a community and will try out best to be a great classmate!
